BIOGRAPHY
Rowan Campbell, better known by his stage name Traz Di Jennik, aka. Alkatraz is a Jamaican entertainer, recording artist and songwriter who is currently a member of JACAP. The artist delivers a versatile mix of eclectic musical genres.
Traz was born on September 15, 1973 in Kingston. He had a modest happy upbringing with both his parents and seven sisters. At the age of twelve, he developed a deep appreciation for music and would routinely entertain his childhood friends, whom emphatically encouraged him to pursue his music instead of sports.
Traz started his recording career in 1995 with his first single "better days" produced by Steely & Clevie.1997 - 2001 “Everything Is Everything” in collaboration with Devonte, “Rude Boyz” in collaboration with Little Kirk, “Babylon Town” in collaboration with Raymond Wright, “Sneaking Police”, “Togetherness”(Smile For Me), “The Breeze”, all produced by Shocking Vibes.There were more projects to follow which were produced by Penthouse, Stephen Stanley, Stone Cold & Deja Vu. “Burning" with Ras Bigmill and “How You Remind Me” - with additional lyrics (Originally by Nickelback) Live Wire label produced by Raymond Legister & Trevor “Skatta” Bonnick. Traz’s career continues to flourish with several more released singles, “Having My Baby”, produced by All Access , "Lock Dung Fi Life”, "Health Over Wealth", “Fairytale” and his latest single “Party Nice” Produced by Trevor “Skatta” Bonnick's Gapbonn Production/RRC Entertainment. An album release is planned for the Summer of 2024.
